The owners are pleasant enough to work with, but once I moved in it was very hard to get a reply, which usually took several days. By my second day at the unit I noticed a very-very strong mold odor and it never left the entire month I was there. I would spray around 1/3 of a can of Lysol and it would help for a day at the most then the mold would come back even stronger than before. In the more than 20 countries I’ve been in, this is my first experience with something like this. It became so bad that at times I would spend a night or two in a hotel just to save my health. But I always returned. There was no negotiating a way out since I asked my second day about it. They said they would check, whatever that means, and I never heard from them again for two weeks. What resulted is that I stayed to save the rent and deposit, per contract they keep both if you leave early, but for my health I should have just left for several weeks and returned the last day to get whatever was left of the deposit. The result of the mold infestation was a sinus infection that I am still battling to overcome though I left there now 12 day ago. My suggestion is de-mold it entirely, not just mopping the floors...., before you rent it again. I don’t like leaving a negative review, however in its current state its not healthy to rent out and other potential renters need to know this for their own safety.
