That might be true, but this Lord of the Rings themed staycation is quite accessible!
In this episode of Rentpad TV, we get to experience a nice escape from city life, without leaving the city. Located in the busy business district, a cozy and well-designed condo unit brings to life the works of J.R.R Tolkien.
The place is heavily decorated with LOTR lore from a replica of Aragorn’s Andúril, a giant Gandalf portrait to a shower curtain with a map to the Shire, as well as goblets and cutlery fit for a Hobbit feast! There’s even a faux fireplace with complete cracking sounds to help set the ambiance.
Now this unit may be small at 24sqm, but the hosts have made sure to make every square meter counts. With collapsible furniture as well as a myriad of things to do, it’s sure to have something that goes with your brand of relaxation.
For the movie buffs, the La-Z Boy and 100-inch projector set up makes for an amazing movie marathon night, whether it is to revisit the Fellowship of the Ring or a different genre entirely, they have you covered.
If you are more into interactive activities, they have a selection of board games from Drunk Cards, Jenga, Word Factory, Chess, and even the classic Snakes n’ Ladders.
The bedroom features a rustic study/work area complete with a hardwood chair and chests that function as storage areas. While the balcony features high chairs perfect for an al fresco dining or drinking experience.
